ABOUT A DACH OF TONIC

a Dach of Tonic was established in 2019 in Somerset, South West UK

​​How and why did a Dach of Tonic start you may ask. We rescued our wire-haired Dachshund as a puppy and he soon became my very own "Dach" of "Tonic" (medicine) when going through a difficult time with my physical health. Following this relapse I knew I needed a challenge of a different kind, so after much thought "a Dach of Tonic" was developed. With a love of dogs and a natural flare for working with leather and leather alternatives, I combined the two to begin producing pet apparel. My inner perfectionist means that I only produce collar and leads that I would be proud to own myself.

I also work as an Occupational Therapist within Mental Health and true to my professional roots "a Dach of Tonic"allows me to further embrace my creative side.
